Royal Icing Basic Techniques

Learn the basic techniques of royal icing and confidently create this gorgeous cake!

 

You will learn how to make, colour, adjust and store royal icing and how to create and trace a pattern over the cake. After that, you will go through a complete overview of basic piping techniques: brush embroidery, linework, piped borders, filigree etc.

This class is performed on a dummy cake.

 

The workshop also includes a detailed handout covering all the materials used, a clear explanation of the techniques demonstrated, and a selection of visual references to support you in continuing your practice independently.

 

The workshop shall be held in English with a translation into French.

 

For this workshop, I accept a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 participants.

  • The deposit necessary to confirm the participation shall in no case be refunded if the participant decides not to take part in the workshop.

    Cancellation of participation is allowed not later than 30 days prior to the event. In such a case, only the part exceeding the deposit shall be refunded.

    If the minimum amount of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the workshop. In this case we will immediately refund the entire fee.

  • For this workshop you can choose one of the following payment options:

    - DEPOSIT - A non-refundable deposit of 65 Euro. The outstanding amount to be paid in the shop on the worskhop day, by cash or QR code (no cards).

    - FULL PAYMENT - Full payment of the workshop fee. For cancellation and refund, please refer to the instructions here above.
