Sugar Flowers - Peony & Orchid Bouquet

Have you always wanted to learn how to make beautiful, delicate sugar flowers to complement your cakes? Are you already making sugar flowers but you struggle with achieving a realistic, natural result? Do you want to grab a new hobby you can extend also to cold porcelain? This class is made for you!
This amazing 2-day masterclass, suitable for beginners and experienced learners, will give you the basic techniques, the skills and the confidence you need to create beautiful blooms, choose the colours and arrange them on your cakes.
You will learn different techniques to make petal, insert them on wires, make stamens and foliage, colour your blooms with a variety of edible colours and give the right finishes to have a realistic look.
In particular, you will learn to make the following flowers:
- peony
- moth orchid
- lily
- tulip
- freesias
- ivy
Your Tutor is a Gold Award winning artist and the current Bronze Medal winner at the Cake Designers World Championship.
You will receive informative schedules on the botanical aspects of the flowers, as well as checklists and step-by-step on how to make the blooms.
This class will be complemented by the one on 22/23 June 2024. A special bundle fee applies when you buy the 2 classes at once.
All the material and equipment needed for the workshop is included in the fee. Tea, coffee and cake shall be offered during the day,
Minimum 4 and maximum 6 students are accepted.
The deposit necessary to confirm the participation shall in no case be refunded if the participant decides not to take part in the workshop.
Cancellation of participation is allowed not later than 30 days prior to the event. In such a case, only the part exceeding the deposit shall be refunded.
If the minimum amount of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the workshop. In this case we will immediately refund the entire fee.
For this workshop you can choose one of the following payment options:
- DEPOSIT - A non-refundable deposit of 90 Euro. Outstanding amount to be paid in the shop on the worskhop day, by cash or QR code (no cards).
